First day of March Break and I'm lucky enough to be able to share it with my girl. She has decided to be a cowgirl today - ha ha!
Part of "Kicking it back into gear" is getting back to basics with our family's nutrition. We are doing our best to kick processed foods out of our diet. I'll use up what I do have stocked, but anything we now purchase won't come in a box or can. Here's today's lunch for the girl.....And yes, I realize the ham and ranch dressing are processed lol - starting small :O) Excuse the blur - was shooting handheld at 1/30 F3.2...didn't seem worth a trip to get the tripod lol.
And my lunch....avacado!!!! YUMMMY!!
The cowgirl was pretty content with lunch :) again...blur....handheld at 1/20....

Nice lunch! You can also score the avocado with a knife, sprinkle on some lemon juice and some chopped red onion. Double yum!
I was at a Personal Trainer Development course in Toronto on the weekend and heard an absolutely inspirational speaker on nutrition (and program design). He is all for exactly that kind of food: and he loves adding a glass of red wine in the evening. Imagine-- I was already following his plan! Well. the part about the red wine at least!
